COLOR EMOTIONS
Our children are affected by many situations, environments & colors. Yes! Colors have a positive or negative impact on your child. After reading about the colors, do some investigating as to which color your child is happiest in, sad in, overactive in or mellow in. Then watch out for the mood you would like most to be around! RED: (Energy)Red stimulates a faster heartbeat, increases respiration rate, raises bood pressure and breathing, does not help in confrontations such as dealing with children that are emotional or explosive. Excitement, Energized, Adventurous, and Ready to go! You might want to stay clear from this color if your child is highly active.

PINK: Does not stimulate as much as red. Fear, Uncertain, Unanswered and Questions

ORANGE: (Combines the energy of Red and the happiness of yellow) Not as aggressive as red. Increases oxygen supply to the brain, produces an invigorating effect and stimulates mental activity. Stimulates,Motivates, Ideas, Daring, and Wants.

BLUE: It causes the opposite reaction of red. It is calming, peaceful,and tranquil. It can also be cold and depressing. Children can be more productive, relaxed, at ease, calm and lovable! Light blue is a better choice for kids.
DARK BLUE: Very Happy!

BLUE-GREEN: Inner, Emotions, Charged,and Relaxed

GREEN: Symbolizes nature, easiest on the eyes and can improve vision. It is calming and refreshing. Brings about harmony and has great healing powers. Average, Reading, Active, Not Under, Great Stress release and just chill.

YELLOW: Sunny & an attention getter, people loose their tempers more often in yellow rooms & babies will cry more! It is difficult on the eye to take in so it can be overpowering. It also speeds metabolism. Imaginative, Wondering, Thoughts, and OK Feelings.

PURPLE: Children prefer a lighter version to a dark version because the darker version of purple envokes gloom and sad feelings. It can cause frustration. Clarity and Purpose. Children become more carefree and giggle more.

BROWN: A nature color. It depends on the shade. Brown makes people feel cozy.
WHITE: Frustrated, Confused and Bored

BLACK: It is a strong color choice. Tense, Nervous, Hassrassed and Over Worked

GREY: Anxieties, Nervous, and Strained
